This app retrieves the distance between the ship-from and ship-to addresses and applies a rate per unit of distance (mile or kilometer) to calculate the shipping rate. Distance can be determined by "route" or "straight line". Different calculations can be created for address types (automatically detected), and weight ranges. Minimum and maximum quotes can be specified for each calculation.
Use route distance for over-the-road services like courier or truckload freight.Use straight line for shipping companies that provide air or ocean freight.Auto-detect address type and create different commercial and residential rates.
