SDG was awarded the coveted "Shopify Build Award" for the development and launch of Glossier on Shopify. SDG's work encompassed a complete rewrite of the Glossier site, a new UX look-and-feel, a highly optimized site for mobile users, complex Checkout customizations via Check Extensibility, the launch of Subscriptions, international markets and a series of complex bundling and build your own sets.

Everlane approached SDG to develop, consult, and drive their full migration to Shopify Plus. SDG delivered a flawless rebuild, leveraging Shopify core technologies: a highly performant front-end framework, custom discount and checkout features, CRM and ESP integrations, and a range of beautiful, seamless customer experiences—future-proofing Everlane’s growth.

SKIMS approached SDG to build and launch their site on Shopify (as a headed storefront). Thereafter, SDG additionally built and launched SKIMS on Shopify's headless platform, Hydrogen as well. SDG and SKIMS were one of the inaugural major sites to utilize the Shopify headless framework for Hydrogen on Oxygen (with Sanity CMS).

SDG is Netflix’s only Shopify and Technical Partner enabling the largest streaming platform in the world to sell product direct to consumer in 100+ countries on Shopify Plus. Netflix and SDG were the inaugural Shopify storefront to launch with Online Store 2.0 sections everywhere functionality which was featured in Shopify Editions.

Mattel came to SDG to migrate their entire portfolio of brands to Shopify from AEM. SDG migrated American Girl, Mattel Shop (NAD and EMEA) and Mattel Creations. Beyond a complete front-end transformation for each of these sites, SDG also built the American Girl Create Your Own Doll experience, complex customizations to Shopify Checkout and one of the most feature-rich discounts engines on Shopify.

Peet’s Coffee Brands came to SDG to migrate their portfolio of brands (Peet's, Intelligentsia and Stumptown Coffee) to Shopify. SDG migrated the entire portfolio from three bespoke platforms to Shopify, developed a uniform "Reference Architecture" across all three brands, and optimized release delivery across the business. The result was lowered operational costs and faster software delivery.
